Course Overview and Target Audience:

The “What’s New With the Guidelines” symposium provides an overview of the AACE/TOS/ASMBS Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Perioperative Nutrition, Metabolic, and Nonsurgical Support of Patients Undergoing Bariatric Procedures – 2019 Update. The symposium is designed for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, dietitians, behavioral health providers, and other medical health professionals who work with metabolic and bariatric surgery patients. This educational content is designed for an intermediate/advanced level.

Learning Objectives:
