Dr. Mihoko Yoshino received MD and PhD and completed residency and fellowship programs at Keio University Hospital in Japan. She became a faculty member at the Center for Human Nutrition of Washington University School of Medicine in 2012. Her research interest has focused on understanding the mechanisms of weight loss-induced cardiometabolic benefits in people with obesity and type 2 diabetes.
