Evan P. Nadler MD serves as Co-Director of the Children’s National Obesity Institute, and is the Director of the Child and Adolescent Weight Loss Surgery Program at Children’s National Health System. He is also a tenured Associate Professor of Surgery, and Pediatrics, at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. He was recently part of a National Institutes of Health funded study investigating the effect of surgical weight loss on executive functioning and cognition in adolescents. His other current research pursuits include obesity device development, bariatric surgery for monogenic forms of obesity, and adipocyte signaling via exosomes.
