Dr. Louise Lantier received her PhD from INSERM in Paris in 2010. Her research is focused on skeletal muscle metabolism and insulin resistance. She was appointed in 2014 as Scientific Managing Director of the Metabolic Pathophysiology and Body Weight Regulation Cores of the Vanderbilt MMPC. She has extensive experience studying metabolism and energy balance in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo, and has studied numerous models of mouse metabolic diseases.
