  • Research Fellow, Molecular Physiology & Biophysics / Wasserman Lab
  • Vanderbilt University School of Medicine
  • Nashville, TN USA

Dr. Curtis Hughey received his PhD from the University of Calgary in 2014. He is currently a research fellow in the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at Vanderbilt University where he has been using stable isotopes, mass spectrometry, and computational modeling to quantify in vivo hepatic metabolic fluxes in genetically-engineered mice. Dr. Curtis Hughey’s specific research aims focus on the control of glucose production and related intermediary metabolic fluxes during physiological conditions such as exercise and pathological states including liver steatosis and cancer.
