Dr. Kirk Erickson is Professor and Principal Investigator of the Brain Aging and Cognitive Health Laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh and Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition. Dr. Erickson studies the impact of physical activity on brain health in older adults and examines the potential for physical activity to prevent dementia. Dr. Erickson was a member of the 2018 Physical Activity Guidelines Advisory Committee, and chair of the Brain Health subcommittee.
