Nicole Avena, PhD is Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Visiting Professor of Health Psychology at Princeton University. She received her PhD in Neuroscience and Psychology from Princeton University, and completed her postdoctoral training at Rockefeller University. She is interested in brain mechanisms that are associated with food intake, and the psychology of eating behaviors.
