State Chapters and ObesityPAC: Our Voices are Best Heard Together!

Representatives from the State and Local Chapters Committee will be on-site to answer your questions about becoming a part of and helping to advance the work of your state chapter. Learn more about getting involved with obesity advocacy by joining ObesityPAC. The mission of ObesityPAC will be to secure nationwide coverage of bariatric surgery – starting with state healthcare exchanges.

Meet and Greet with Integrated Health Leadership

Diversity & Inclusion Awareness Event

Join the Diversity and Inclusion Committee to discuss the Society’s efforts to support under-represented members and improve the care of diverse patient populations. IH Professional Networking Groups

Date and Time: Tuesday, Nov. 5, 3:45pm – 5:00pm

The ASMBS Integrated Health Professional Networking Groups (PNG) are comprised of individuals who are involved a specialized area of care with bariatric surgery patients. Each group contains at least one facilitator and professionals within that area of practice.

ASMBS International Reception & Award Ceremony

Date and Time: Wednesday, Nov. 6, 5:15pm – 6:15pm

Join ASMBS, the ASMBS Foundation and IFSO for the International Reception, a time dedicated for guests who came great distances. This networking session also serves as a cocktail reception, and the winners of this year’s International Awards will be recognized at the event.
