Obesity is a well-known risk factor for poor pregnancy outcomes. Modification of weight, both before and during pregnancy, is critical to improve short- and long-term maternal and child health. In this session, we will hear from three expert speakers describing innovative treatment approaches to improve fertility and maternal preconception weight, prevent excessive weight gain in pregnancy, and promote optimal antenatal and postnatal outcomes in women who have had bariatric surgery.
